Research And Development. Development sketches and Research is one in the same for me. As they constantly bounce off each other and work hand in hand. So, grouping this section into the same blog makes sense for me. Where do I start? Starting an assignment is always hardest for me so, let ask the 5 Ws. Who? What? When? Where? Why? This will keep my ideas grounded and let me think with prompts in my head. Also, What helps are mood board. I love using mood boards as visual development. So, Who? I have Dale Chihuly and he is a glass artist. So, let look at his art and how I can implement his work into a building. Dale Chihuly is going to make it hard for me. 3D modelling Ideas like these are going to be difficult. 3D software love 4 sided shapes but going into a more triangle is going to upset it. Building A Gameworld -Formative-

Building A Gameworld Introduction: This is my assignment to building a game world. Each link will take you through my assignment and should be in development order. So, the start of my development to the final thing. I am designing a building in a town called Malice and two street furniture. These concepts will have to link with my prompted artist which is Dale Chihuly, which is a glass Artist. Along with the concept I will be 3D modelling the building and furniture, so keeping the idea of having to 3D model in mind. Finally I will ned to make a travelogue to entice the audience into my fictional building. Please Enjoy what I have to offer. Exercises We did some visual learning  and while doing the visual learning without colours It seemed erratic and explosive like I put as quick notes on the side. But without colour it felt empty and boring. And when looking at the photo, I noticed a lot of primary colours which are red, blue and yellow. What does that mean? Those colours are the opposite to each of on the colour wheel which means in use that they standout from each other highlighting those colours more. There was use of green, whites and blacks but these colours stood out to me the most. Here's me learning how to translate drawings into an Orthographic drawing.
