Evaluation

Toolkit has been my biggest weakness and could be my biggest downfall. It's been a big eye opener for me and how I spend my time and it's been the biggest struggle the longer that time has gone on. I don't know what I should be expecting past this point but all I know that the date is due and I have to submit and accept whatever is thrown my way. Would have I done this differently the next time round? Of course. It's been a year of university that has me close to the edge. Pushing me and it's been a struggle. I learnt a lot and enjoyed yet despise it at the same time. But It's been an honour. My confidence has been pushed with this year. Where I feel like my confidence is like an open wound on my work and it's evident to everyone. I feel like I showed good progress and maybe shown some protentional through my unconfident filled wound.

 Toolkit 1 (3D) By Kyle Smith 24th September 2024 Within this lesson, we explored Maya, I already had experience with maya beforehand so not a lot was new for me, but I still felt like taking notes to look back and reminds myself of things I might forget. First of all Simon told us about the tools. Things to highlight is that Computers love to render 4 sided shapes like square and rectangles, this also includes cubes and cuboids with are made up into from squares and rectangles.  Here is some shortcuts for Maya that Simon has showed us: Q - Get Rid of handle. W - Move E - Rotation R - Scale CTRL/ E - Extrude CTRL/ Z - Back Alt/Left Mouse - Rotate Camera Alt/Right Mouse - Zoom in/out Alt/Mouse wheel - Move If I go in Mesh Tools, I can automatically insert edge loops. And If I click on the box next to it can change the property of the edge loop tool like the amount of edge loops I add. Designing a game world. By Kyle Smith Introduction Within this assignment we were given  an opportunity to develop and design a game world. We were given choice of two prompts and develop ideas within those two prompts. Within the prompts given to us I decided to chose The Abyssal Dungeons which abyssal means depths and ocean bed. Underwater Dungeon. That's kind off cool. For another prompts I chose Artifact 2 and that's a Knife from the Congo's. After Look around for this particular knife I found it belong to Ngombe people. Ngombe are known as water people and believe in mythical entities like Akongo and Mbokomu. Akongo is a creator god which is a deity that's responsible for creating planet earth. And Mbokomu is said to be the first women on earth. I like the idea using Mbokomu or the idea of a powerful women. Mbokomu is the daughter of Akongo.
